IFCO: the gateway to international fashion

One week after it took place, the final figures for the eighth edition of IFCO have been released. The event has now been established as the gateway to international fashion. There were over 270 exhibitors across 25,000 square meters, showcasing womenswear, menswear, kidswear, denim, accessories, homewear, and leather garments. A total of 18,814 visitors from 114 countries attended, 43% of whom were international—marking a 29% increase compared to August 2024.

Major international buyers were also present: ASOS, Zalando, LPP, Twinset, Everlane, Coach and Landmark Group, with more than 400 B2B meetings held between 30 Turkish companies and 76 global buying groups.

“In just four years, IFCO has become a real success story in international fashion – commented Mustafa Pasahan, Vice President of IHKIB – Since its first edition in 2022, it has hosted nearly 3,000 exhibitors and welcomed 195,000 professional visitors from 165 countries”.

The Core Istanbul was once again the creative heart of the fair, featuring 24 of Turkey’s most influential designers in a newly designed exhibition space with cubist design in natural tones and materials. Notable names included Arzu Kaprol, Mehtap Elaidi, Hatice Gökçe, Meltem Özbek, Özlem Süer, and Şansım Adalı’s Sudi Etuz, alongside emerging talents such as Belma Özdemir, Emre Erdemoğlu, Gökhan Yavaş, Mert Erkan, and others.
