Milan will have a new event dedicated to luxury textiles: Val:ue

From 2007, Milan will have a new event dedicated to luxury textiles: Val:ue Milan is being launched by Messe Frankfurt, which has conceived a boutique-style business hub dedicated to high-end fabrics for clothing.

This new development hits the trade fair scene on the eve of Techtextil and Texprocess in Frankfurt and opens up new possibilities in Italy, with February 2027 set to be particularly busy. Val:ue Milan, which the organisers intend to take beyond the traditional trade fair model, will take place from 3 to 5 at The Mall in Portanuova, offering a setting where every detail has been carefully considered and designed for strategic networking.

Messe Frankfurt is entrusting Val:ue with providing a meeting point for selected manufacturers, brands and professionals operating at the very top of the textile sector, in the heart of Milan, a strategic hub for design, innovation and manufacturing excellence.

The aim is to provide a space where the most accomplished international manufacturers can meet buyers, designers and product managers and forge high-profile partnerships: “With Val:ue Milan,” says Donald Wich (photo), CEO of Messe Frankfurt Italia, “we are bringing together fashion, industrial expertise and major brands, opening them up to an international dimension. “The aim is to establish a distinctive hub in Milan for high-end sourcing, capable of engaging with existing players in the sector through a clear identity and a profile of excellence.”

“With Val:ue Milan, we are expanding the reach of our global Texpertise network – says Detlef Braun, member of the Executive Board of the German company – in a Milan that offers an unrivalled stage. This boutique-style business hub sets a new standard within our portfolio, reflecting our long-term vision: to strengthen our presence in the major fashion capitals through a highly differentiated approach, offering sophisticated and strategic solutions across the entire textile supply chain.”

The choice of the name “Val:ue” is a statement of intent: “a celebration of substance – as the organisers put it – over interchangeability, of distinctive quality over standardisation, and of lasting professional partnerships over fleeting trends”.
