The go-ahead has been given by the General Council of Confindustria Como to the team that will flank the new President Gianluca Brenna (photo) in the four-year period 2023 – 2027. The group of entrepreneurs will be put to the vote at the next General Assembly scheduled for the end of June, the date until which the current President’s Council led by Aram Manoukian will remain in office.

Brenna has chosen three deputies: Francesco Pizzagalli will be the vicar, with responsibility for sustainability, while Alberto Novarese will be in charge of internationalisation and the European Union and Francesca Polti of industrial relations, welfare and people.

The councillors in charge are Michele Ciavola (Education), Marcella Panzeri (Business Economics), Stefano Poliani (Innovation, Research and Development) and Andrea Tagliabue (Marketing and Communication).

Completing the President’s Council are the members by right already present: Paolo Bellocco, vice president and president of the Young Entrepreneurs Group; Walter Pozzi, vice president and president of Piccola Industria; and Aram Manoukian, who will remain on the Board as past president.
