Première Vision is changing leadership and appointing Florence Rousson as president of the show’s board of directors in place of Gilles Lasbordes.
A decision taken by GL events, the company that organises PV, to “accelerate the international development of its Fashion Division in a rapidly changing sector” and to allow Rousson to ensure new growth prospects in terms of offering services and events in new geographical areas.
“GL events,” reads the Lyon-based company’s statement, “reaffirms its determination to support the growth of the group’s Fashion Division by focusing on Première Vision, which it has held 100% for the past year. The Supervisory Board, chaired by Lucien Deveaux, has appointed Florence Rousson, who will continue the mission carried out since 2007 by Gilles Lasbordes under the chairmanship of Philippe Pasquet, to make Première Vision the world leader in the organisation of events and exhibitions dedicated to the creative fashion market’.
During her 13-year career in the GL events Exhibitions group, Florence Rousson, former director of the Green Tech + division, gained experience in exhibition management. Before joining the group, Florence spent more than ten years at Eurovet and the Fédération de la Maille.
Olivier Ginon, CEO of the GL events Group, said: ‘Première Vision brings together the main players in the industry, supporting them in the transformation of the market, for a fashion that is both creative and responsible. It is a unique brand, a must for the industry and international fashion brands. Florence’s mission is to chart the path to new growth opportunities in terms of market share through new products, innovative services and new geographical outlets. I warmly thank Gilles Lasbordes for his invaluable contribution over the past years’.
